Penn International VIS 2-Speed Lever Drag Reels have been redesigned for 2018. For years anglers have depended on Penn International reels when trolling for monster pelagics and the new VIS version is a leap forward. Constructed of heavy-duty aluminum, Penn has reduced the weight of the reels without sacrificing strength and line capacity. They have also increased the drag using their powerful Dura-Drag system and the free spool is much improved. The Penn International VIS features stainless steel main and pinion gears, a silent double-dog ratchet anti-reverse and stainless steel ball bearings. When you're trolling or chunking for big fish in saltwater, anglers need a reel that is reliable and won't fail.
