04/26/25. 

What a difference a week makes in April! 

The weather was outstanding all week and so was the fishing.

Today we held our annual Kids Fishing Derby right before today's rainy cold front moved in.

We had over two hundred kids participate and they caught some nice fish. An awesome day had by all! A couple of state pin fish in the mix....

On the saltwater front, first reports of some Togs in Nantucket sound. Not thick yet, but this weeks warmer temps should result in some increased fishing effort and  thus, some more fish.

Herring are in thick in the runs...we expect a few reports of some holdover striper action by end of the week. It's not to early to try if you get a chance at the end of the week.
