The Valiant 2 merges the raw stopping power of Accurate's TwinDrag lever drag system with the effortless castability typically found in a star drag reel. At the core of this advancement is the new XCT (Xtreme Casting Technology), which manages spool speed during the cast, minimizing the risk of backlashes while still delivering smooth, controlled, and impressively long casts. Its centrifugal casting design activates only when the spool is in motion, giving anglers the confidence to make precise presentations in a variety of conditions.

Like its predecessor, the Valiant 2 comes fully loaded with Accurate's proven technologies. CVX Technology delivers a strong yet lightweight frame by machining aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum into a sleek, rigid form that's comfortable to fish with for long hours. Precision-cut 17-4 stainless steel gears provide incredible durability and cranking power, while the DirecShift InstaGage system allows seamless, immediate transitions in and out of gear. Designed with todays fast-paced, run-and-gun fishing styles in mind, the Valiant 2 is offered in both single-speed and two-speed models across a wide range of sizes. For anglers who prefer specialized techniques, the Valiant 2 is also available in dedicated SPJ (Slow Pitch Jigging) models in both single and two-speed versions, as well as "Light Line" models with drag cams and gear ratio's optimized for fishing with lighter monofilament lines.
