How fast can you troll the RM9?

5 to 17 knots is the working range; up to 16 knots clean with no trolling weight, and over 20 knots with one. It holds a straight sub-surface track at any of those speeds with a medium wobble, sinking action.

Can it handle turns and rough positions in the spread?

Yes — that's its specialty. Make short, aggressive turns directly inside or outside the prop wash and it keeps swimming. Run it shotgun or up tight; it never messes up your spread.
