Gamakatsu's new Mesh Baitholder will take care of that problem. A red single egg hook that has a small piece of pink nylon mesh material attached near the eye.

Simply mold the bait around the shank of the hook and then press the mesh material around the bait. The barb and nylon mesh combined will hold the bait firm and won't allow it to fly off the hook when cast or get nibbled off by pesky bait stealers.
