This single piece popping rod was designed for professional captains who are on the water everyday. Before we designed this rod we surveyed a number of captains to gauge what they wanted in a popping rod to handle all applications. This resulted in a 1 piece rod that is lightweight, works a popper effortlessly and had the backbone to deal with any sharks that often show up and consume the catch without taking laborious minutes to land. The high modular Mitsubishi carbon used on this blank enables the light weight and the mix of different strength carbons creates a specific action with unbridled strength.
