RIO’s InTouch Striper 30ft Sink Tip line is an easy casting, fast-sinking line that is built on RIO's ultra-low stretch ConnectCore for the maximum in performance. The line has a fast sinking head of 30ft, seamlessly integrated to an intermediate running line, and is built on a supple, coldwater core that has no "memory" and will not tangle.

A short, powerful head of 30ft, and an aggressive front taper makes it easy to cast Clousers, Deceivers, and other typical striper flies. In addition the line has welded loops on both ends of all lines for fast rigging. The core strength of these lines is 30lb.

The lines are sold in "grain" weights, and we recommend the following conversion to appropriate rod sizes:

  • 250gr = 7wt
  • 300gr = 8wt
  • 350gr = 9wt
  • 400gr = 10wt
  • 450gr = 11wt

Sink Rate:

  • 250gr = 1.5/6.5 ips
  • 300gr = 1.5/7.2 ips
  • 350gr = 1.5/8.2 ips
  • 400gr = 1.5/8.5 ips
  • 450gr = 1.5/9 ips
